The Sippy Cup

We've been working on mastering the sippy cup, and for the most part, I think he has it down. Sometimes that means literally pointed down, as he really likes chewing on the bottom of the cup for some reason. I think he uses it more as a teething toy than a hydration tool. He always refused to drink from a bottle, so this is all new to him. I don't think he cares for the water much, but I'm not introducing juice quite yet. I think he'll get plenty of sugary goodness eventually, so there's no need to rush into it!

  1. We're not introducing juice either, not until after his first birthday and even then, it'll be limited. Jack mostly just chews on his as well. Sometimes I'll take the lid off and let him drink it just from the cup. He loves it!

  2. Lily loves her water any way she can get it! She also uses her sippy spout as a little teether too! We do a little 100% prune juice diluted (1oz juice to 2oz water) when she gets a little backed up and some apple juice as a treat every now and again (again diluted!) He doesn't know what he's missing out on so hold off!
